We seek a Business Development Manager - Air focusing on Operations, to manage and grow Airfreight Import and Export customers.
You will enjoy autonomy within a team environment, applying your sales expertise with support to achieve your goals.Role HighlightsDrive and manage sales opportunities for Airfreight, especially in the perishable marketCollaborate with Product Management to strategize and support existing customer relationships and new account growthIdentify sales pipelines and support marketing campaignsManage initiatives on new sales contacts with marketing & sales teamsHandle operational tasks for new customers, including security clearances, Dangerous Goods Declarations, invoicing, quotes, and ensuring cargo flights as bookedThe Ideal CandidateMinimum 4+ years of freight forwarding experience with exposure to sales/business development in air freight or logistics.
Experience with perishables like seafood, flowers, meat, and poultry, handling import/export cargo, is preferred.
