This is your opportunity to join a purpose led organisation that truly makes a difference to Australians.****About the Role**The Seasonal Participation Officer will play a key role in supporting the growth and promotion of cricket and drive the delivery of entry level and school-based programs, and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role will also involve significant responsibilities in providing support to the wider Community Cricket department and aims to increase sustainable participation in cricket in schools, transition children from school to club cricket, progress children through Cricket Australia's National Junior Pathway, and align with the SACA's strategic goals.**Key responsibilities:*** Physically deliver entry level and school-based programs including but not limited to Adelaide Strikers School Holiday Programs, Woolworths Cricket Blast, and Smash Series Cricket.* Provide assistance to grow participation activities across school channels to promote cricket including Woolworths Cricket Blast, Smash Series Cricket, and Junior Club cricket.* Provide operational support to SACA's Cricket Officers with regards to the delivery of national school's programs including Woolworths Cricket Blast, Health and PE, Sporting Schools, Woolworths Cricket Blast School Cups, Smash Series Cricket, community events, and promotional activities including the School Visit Program.* Assist with the training and education of volunteer Woolworths Cricket Blast program coordinators.* Provide administrative and delivery support across the whole Participation Growth team for a range of programs and events.* Staffing and support within and of kid's zones and activations at W/BBL, Domestic and International cricket fixtures as required.* Demonstrate a team-based approach to achieving the best outcomes for SACA in accordance with SACA's Behaviours – Achievement, Be Brave, Be Kind, Collaboration, Inclusivity, and Optimism.* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations including MOU and department specific contractual arrangements.**Would also be great if you have...*** Relevant experience with sporting networks and other relevant stakeholder groups including schools, clubs, associations, and volunteers.* A proven ability in engaging stakeholders and influencing their product/purchasing choices.* An understanding of the avenues available for growing participation in sport.* High-level organisational skills to manage the logistics associated with the roll out of programs.* The ability to influence internal SACA stakeholders to build strong relationships.* The knowledge and energy to motivate both paid and unpaid resources involved locally in the game.* The ability to use/learn to use data platforms such as PlayHQ, PowerBI, Kinetica, InMoment etc. to input track participation data and provide insights.* The capacity to instill a culture that is inclusive and supportive and embraces hard work and effort whilst also providing the opportunity for fun and camaraderie.* Excellent presentation and written communication skills.* Willingness to complete work in a variety of diverse environments and locations.* Working With Children Check or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.* RAN Masterclass Certificate or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.* A current unrestricted driver's license and regular access to a roadworthy vehicle.* Tertiary qualifications in Education, Sport Management, or Management *(Desirable)*.* A proven ability in physically delivering entry-level sporting programs or events *(Desirable).** An understanding of cricket and the Australian Junior Cricket Pathway *(Desirable).***About SACA**The SACA is one of the nation's premier sporting bodies, with a vision for cricket to be Australia's favorite sport – a sport for all Australian's. Operating within the sports and entertainment industry, SACA offers an exciting and dynamic working environment, and is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket on a State level.The SACA is responsible for coordinating international and domestic cricket matches, Premier cricket matches and community carnivals, coaching and development and pathway programs for girls and boys, coaching, umpiring, volunteer development and ground management.
