About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our Queensland team, engaging on Unitywater’s Build Better Together (BBT) Program, contributing to the delivery of a $2B water and wastewater infra program across Southeast Queensland.
Day to day your responsibilities will include;
Working with the project team to ensure contractual compliance.Ensuring standards for maintaining documentation within the Abergeldie data management system are adhered to.Coordinating vendor documentation, drawings, transmittals and engineering deliverables.Maintaining company standards for quality assurance purposes.Controlling the distribution of drawings and documentation in a timely manner.Ensuring document control activities are compliant with Abergeldie's policies, procedures and processes.Providing guidance and advice to project teams and other stakeholders on document control processes and compliance, as required.
What You'll Bring To The Team
To be successful in your application you will possess:
Demonstrated experience working as a Document Controller within the civil construction or related industries on large, complex projects.Prior experience using InEight, TeamBinder or similar document control attention to detail with proven organisational and time‑management skills.Proficiency in the MS Office suite.Strong understanding of document control processes, quality standards and version control requirements on major infrastructure projects.Confidence coordinating with Engineers, Project Managers, Subcontractors and external stakeholders to ensure timely document flow.Experience maintaining transmittals, workflows, registers and project correspondence in line with project governance.Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced project environment.
