Well-known & reputable brand name Role with autonomy Hybrid / WFH About your new employer •Stable environment with a supportive management team and a great culture •Reputable global brand •Forward-thinking and innovative •Multiple locations across Australia About your new job •Working in a busy environment with a supportive culture the role would suit a highly experienced Payroll Officer. •Managing weekly and monthly payrolls for approximately 600 employees •Process staff commissions and bonuses •Handling and resolving payroll queries and providing advice •Processing payroll adjustments – ad-hoc manual payments •Setting up new starters and ensuring the accuracy of information •Process termination payments in accordance with the required legislation •Reconcile worker's compensation and prepare wage estimates •Month-end reporting and prepare reports for finance & HR •Complete and process annual PAYG summaries •Assist with ongoing projects in relation to system/process/ procedure improvement as required. •Ad-hoc tasks as required About You To be successful in this position you will ideally have exposure in the following: •A proven track record in the area of payroll management – ideally within a full function/ end to end or a stand-alone capacity •Knowledge and understanding of Australian employment law and interpreting Awards & EBAs •Previous experience in high-volume payroll processing •Exposure to large payroll systems – ideally Micropay •Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with relevant departments •Attention to detail and high level of accuracy What is in it for you •Flexible work arrangement – WFH 2 days a week •Opportunity to get involved in projects and ongoing improvements •Supportive management team •Parking provided
