Electrical Engineer - Solar and Battery Energy Storage
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the construction and commissioning of a 400MW Solar & BESS project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing all electrical engineering activities on-site during the construction and commissioning phases.
About the Role:
* Ensure all electrical works comply with local codes, regulations, and international standards
* Enforce site-specific safety procedures and monitor compliance to keep your team safe
* Coordinate the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, including PV arrays, BESS, and grid interconnection
* Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and work closely with the design and engineering teams to find solutions
* Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including project managers, subcontractors, and design consultants

Your Background:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent)
* 5+ years of experience in site-based electrical engineering, preferably in renewable energy, power generation, or HV / MV transmission / distribution projects
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, cables, protection systems, BESS, and PV
