**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are currently seeking a Crop Care Supervisor to join our "growing" team at Warragul, Taura and Mansfield! The Crop Care Supervisor is responsible for the management of the care and cultivation of crops and leading the Crop Care Team, managing performance to ensure KPI's and quality requirements are achieved.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this role will include (but are not limited to):
- Management and supervision of the teams responsible for the pollination, propagation and cultivation of crops.
- Ensure that crop treatments are carried out as per established procedures and operators are trained to discharge their respective duties.
- Liaison with, and support to, Senior Grower, various departments and other section supervisors regarding crops, treatments, changes to condition of crop, greenhouse and maintenance requirements.
- Undertake crop care activities such as twisting/clipping, truss pruning, de-leafing, pollination, arch supporting and layering.
- Undertake weekly quality checks and monitor operations and performance to ensure quality targets are achieved.
- Monitor weather conditions and plan scheduled activities accordingly.
- Maintain, schedule and provide correct crop care equipment.
- Administer stocktake process, incl. maintenance of stock levels (fertilisers, chemicals etc).
- Manage work health and safety processes and reporting including storage requirements, supervising high-risk duties, managing SWMs and SOPs, ensuring greenhouse cleanliness and ensuring hygiene protocols are met.
- General team management/leadership, including recruitment, performance management, induction management and training.
- Management of rostering, workloads and labour hours through supervision and delegation.

**Skills & Experience**:
We are seeking a motivated, safety conscious individual with the following experience and attributes:
- Minimum Cert III or IV in Horticulture/Agriculture plus minimum 1yr experience in same or similar role.
- Experience in all responsibilities/activities shown above.
- Current Forklift license (desirable)
- Experienced in leading a team and/or training, coaching and influencing.
- First Aid Certificate (or willing to undertake).
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to work in warm climate (23-30 degrees).
- Physically fit for the inherent requirements of the role.
