Job Description:
As a Site Supervisor at DTH Engineering, you will play a vital role in supporting managers and operations by supervising staff for our various sites in WA. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing project progress, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, managing resources, and promoting a positive work culture. Local work and FIFO/DIDO to sites across WA.
Responsibilities:
* Communicate with project managers and crew to address concerns and provide feedback
* Order/purchase material for job site (raising relevant purchase orders)
* Organise hire of equipment and cranes as required daily
* Formalise and negotiate with clients for variations works onsite
* Maintain overview of all assigned site works upcoming and the material/equipment requirements
* Ensure all personnel are adequately trained, competent, and provided with necessary instructions for their tasks
* Monitor and report job progress and performance to relevant parties
* Lead and instruct DTH Contractors, employees, and subcontractors, delegating responsibilities as needed
* Evaluate employees and provide feedback to the Operations Manager
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and PPE requirements
* Coordinate job schedules
* Take ownership of all site works under your control, including safety, efficiency, and staff mentoring/training
* Investigate and complete incident/accident forms immediately after any incidents
Requirements:
* Leadership and management experience
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
* Proficient in report writing and time management
* Knowledge of management systems and ability to suggest improvements
Must have:
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
* Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
* Boilermaker/Welder Trade background
* Section 44 or 26 training (Desirable)
* White Card
* WA Drivers Licence
* Working at Heights
* Confined Space Entry
* EWP (Desirable)
