The Role This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving the outcomes of First Nations students and communities and self-determination for First Nations through progressing the aims of the Wurreker and Marrung strategies within the TAFE Network. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional cultural awareness, interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders across various levels to support the delivery of key projects. You will effectively influence outcomes by tailoring your communication style to meet the needs of diverse audiences. The Project Officer will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects and initiatives related to Marrung and Wurreker within the TAFE Strategy Systems and Tertiary Governance Branch. Reporting to the Manager, Marrung, the Project Officer supports the team to ensure key project milestones are achieved on time, within scope, and on budget. Main accountabilities: * Prepares clear and accurate reports, briefs and correspondence on issues affecting programs, communities or the organisation. * Prepares project scopes and briefs within broad parameters, seeking input from stakeholders and community where relevant. * Drafts reports and recommendations by interpreting and analysing a range of data — including quantitative, qualitative and community insights. * Determines operational service delivery plans based on agreed standards and reflecting culturally safe and appropriate practice. The Team The position of Project Officer forms a part of the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery within the Skills and TAFE (S&T) Skills and TAFE (S&T) focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations. The Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) incorporating the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance branch and the TAFE Performance, Finance and Infrastructure branch, plays a system leadership and management role for the Victorian TAFE Network (VTN) across Victoria.
