Duties Provide leadership, guidance, management and support to managers and staff under your area of responsibility to ensure the effective and efficient running of the daily operations of the Court.
Participate and lead others in the development and implementation of the Court's agreed strategic priorities including planning, budgeting and policy development.
Provide effective leadership, guidance and direction to managers and staff in implementing change and achieving acceptance of change.
In collaboration with the Administrator of Courts and Deputy Administrator North/North West develop and oversee state-wide delivery of appropriate staff training and development to facilitate high level service delivery to court users.
In conjunction with the Administrator of Courts, develop and maintain effective relationships with Court users and deliver high level advice and education regarding the Court's operations, including participation in relevant consultation frameworks.
Undertake statutory responsibilities when required in conjunction with District Registrars, effectively and efficiently manage human and material resources to ensure the operation of all registries in line with strategic priorities.
Assist and support the Administrator in the preparation, analysis and review of high level statistical, budgetary and administrative reports to facilitate the effective and efficient operation of the Court.
Act as Administrator of Courts in the absence of the Administrator, if required.
Relevant tertiary qualifications Experience in the criminal justice system or other legal systems is desirable.
