About the role
This full-time After Sales Service Manager position is a crucial role within Porter Equipment Australia Pty Ltd, a leading provider of heavy equipment and machinery located in our brand new purpose built facility in Berrinba, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's after-sales service throughout southeast QLD and northern NSW, ensuring our customers receive exceptional support and maintenance for their equipment investments.
What you'll be doing
Managing and leading the service team to deliver high-quality customer service
Overseeing the scheduling and completion of equipment servicing and repairs
Liaising with customers to understand their needs and manage their expectations
Analysing service data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
Collaborating with the sales and parts teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the after-sales service offering
Monitoring key performance indicators and providing progress reports to senior management
What we're looking for
Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar after-sales service management role, preferably within the heavy equipment or machinery industry
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment and machinery maintenance and repair
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous Crushing and screening experience will be highly regarded
