About you: In your new role you will: * Provide effective and efficient clinical care in the Maternity Service and work in collaboration with the Nurse/Midwifery Unit Manager to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care. * Promote cooperation, teamwork and understanding in undertaking generalist and/or specialist nursing/midwifery practices for effective health outcomes. * Practice collaboratively and provide clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary health care team to promote safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups. * Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research. * Maintain sound knowledge of relevant legislation, guideline and standards specifically relating midwifery practice and ensure safe, appropriate application of same.
