The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Manager to join our Finance team in a full-time ongoing position commencing in October 2025.
Based at the Keilor East campus and reporting to the Director of Business and Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient payroll service for PEGS staff, ensuring timely and accurate payroll advice, processing of end to end fortnightly payroll, and maintaining payroll records and systems.
- Sound experience processing a 600+ employee payroll
- Payroll experience in an education setting would be of benefit
- Sound knowledge of EBAs, Awards, taxation and superannuation requirements
- Sound knowledge of payroll processes and statutory/legislative requirements including an understanding of fundamental HR Principles
- Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and the ability to analyse information
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to child safety, be suitably qualified and experienced, hold a current employee Working With Children Check and be eligible to work in Australia.
