Location: Alice Springs
Primary Objective: The Aboriginal Liaison Officer provides appropriate support and transport for Aboriginal women from remote communities to attend antenatal appointments. This position also assists and supports postnatal women and families with children up to 5 years of age who are required to stay in Alice Springs for ongoing care. Additionally, the role contributes to the provision of culturally appropriate healthcare services to Aboriginal patients and their families at the Alice Springs Hospital.
