Your new role
As the Senior Advisor - Learning Design, you will work closely with subject-matter experts to design, develop and maintain high‑quality learning and assessment products. You will contribute to capability uplift across the organisation by ensuring all training aligns with compliance requirements and supports safe, effective performance in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and developing training and assessment products that are valid, compliant and fit‑for‑purpose
Collaborating with SMEs to produce engaging, accurate learning resources
Creating and adapting programs across multiple delivery modes, including eLearning
Ensuring products meet AQF and RTO standards and support continuous improvement
Supporting assessment validation and audit processes as required
Providing guidance to trainers and assessors across the organisation
What you'll need to succeed
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
Experience designing and delivering training within the VET sector
Strong understanding of RTO requirements and AQF standards
Experience working with emergency services or volunteer‑based organisations (highly regarded)
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across a complex organisation
A current driving licence and ability to travel are required.
