Weekly Hours: Full Time| 35 Hours Per WeekWeekly Rate: $1,846 03- $2,012.17 (plus superannuation)
Join a dynamic and collaborative team responsible for shaping the city’s long‑term vision through the development and review of key strategic planning documents, including Local Environmental Plans, Development Control Plans, and Council policies.
The Role Reporting to the Coordinator Strategic Planning, you will play a key part in the development of strategic land-use planning for the city. Your responsibilities will include:Leading projects relating to LEP, DCP, and LSPS development and review.Assessing and processing planning proposals, including land rezonings and control plans and master plans to support new release areas and infill development.Providing informed advice on emerging planning issues, including State legislation and policy changes and their impact on the local area.
About YouTertiary qualifications in Town Planning.Demonstrated experience in a similar planning role.Extensive knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Local Government Act, and other relevant environmental ‑level communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Eligibility for Corporate Membership with the Planning Institute of Australia.A valid driver’s licence
