Business Development Manager
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth through effective sales strategies and strong relationships with clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and leading the end-to-end sales process. They will also be required to build and maintain accurate sales pipelines, report on sales processes using CRM techniques, and implement marketing campaigns to expand our customer base.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development practices, particularly in the equipment rental and hire industry.

About You
* You must have a proven track record of achieving business growth targets through durable prospect pipelines and sound client pursuit strategies.
* You should have experience in business development practices, particularly in the equipment rental and hire industry.
* You must have commercial acumen, familiarity with tendering processes, and the ability to build, present, and negotiate financially sound proposals.
* You should have persuasive, engaging, and charismatic outcome-driven demeanor with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Australian residency is mandatory for this role. Only applicants currently residing in Australia will be considered.

About This Role
* Lead the end-to-end sales process, including market research, generation of leads, opportunity qualification, provision of quotes, proposal development, presentations, and negotiations.
* Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and report processes using CRM system techniques.
* Develop and implement growth strategies, build strong relationships with customers, and lead sales and marketing team members to achieve targets and drive business success.
* Identify and develop equipment rental/hire business opportunities within the mining, civil, construction sectors, and maintenance labour and services for hire market.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to tenders, EOIs, and RFPs, ensuring high-quality submissions that align with client needs and service capabilities.
