We have a Permanent Part-Time opportunity at 4-6 Younger Street, Wangaratta, for a Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q)
* Fortnight 1 total hours: 43.5
* Fortnight 2 total hours: 41.75
* Roster Line: 5
The role includes:
* Supporting our customers to live independently whilst providing a caring service (and the odd joke wouldn't hurt either)
* Manual handling including bending, lifting, and transferring and is very hands on, so suits active people who can perform these tasks
* Creating a pleasant environment for our Customers and yourself to enjoy – this can include outings, the odd trip to the movies or footy and more
* Personal care work and support, including domestic/household tasks
* Being calm and confident in all situations
* Certificate IV in Disability ( or equivalence) is highly desirable
