We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Chemistry Teacher, to join our team commencing 1 January **** and concluding on 31 December **** with a possibility of ongoing placement.
The successful applicant will have the ability to teach Sciences to Secondary level students and will be committed to maximising the engagement and progress of all students within a culture of excellence.
Selection Criteria
Ability to teach Chemistry to secondary students.
Have a sound understanding of the Current Curriculum.
Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Mercy Education Limited and Catholic Education.
Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student learning through effective teaching and differentiated learning.
Excellent planning and use of digital technologies, thinking skills and pedagogies that engage students.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment.
Demonstrated skills in establishing effective collaborative working relationships with staff, students and parents.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Current Working with Children Card.
