**Where you'll be working**:
Kurri Kurri District Hospital is in the Lower Hunter Sector serving the communities of Kurri Kurri, Abermain, Weston and Heddon Greta. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of services including medical, specialist surgical services, rehabilitation, emergency, and allied health services. Close proximity to world-class Hunter Valley Vineyards and only 2 hours' drive north of Sydney with flights from the nearby Newcastle airport enable easy access to all major cities in Australia.
**About the role**:
We are seeking dedicated Assistant in Nursing (AIN) professionals to join our Casual Pool team. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are looking for flexible working arrangements while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
You will assist patients with personal care, mobility, and communication needs to support their daily activities and overall well-being. Additionally, you will support nurses by carrying out routine technical tasks, including preparing for procedures and cleaning equipment. Maintaining accurate documentation in patient records is essential to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

- Relevant qualifications and experience as an Assistant in Nursing.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
**Essential criteria**:
- Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year), or have equivalent experience.
