We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Data Architect with broad consulting skills and current certifications to join our growing team in Adelaide.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture roles with at least 3 years in a lead or principal architect capacity on large‐scale data platform programmes
* Deep expertise in modern data platform architecture patterns – medallion lakehouse (Bronze/Silver/Gold), data mesh, data vault, and dimensional modelling
* Ability to evaluate the trade‐offs between patterns and recommend the most appropriate approach for a given organisation's workloads, team maturity and strategic ambitions
* Hands‐on experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and/or Snowflake
* Strong expertise in data modelling including canonical data model design
* Demonstrated experience designing data governance frameworks, Microsoft Purview implementation, data quality rule design, data classification schemes and policy‐as‐code approaches
* Experience producing Architecture Decision Records, architecture review packages, and executive‐level architecture overviews
* Broad understanding of the Azure data platform ecosystem
* Relevant architecture certifications and qualifications
