This is a Part Time 0.6 FTE, Fixed Term position until 9 April 2027 with flexible work arrangements. Student Support Services aims is to assist children and young people facing a range of barriers to learning to achieve their educational and developmental potential through the provision of a range of strategies and specialized support at individual, group, and school levels. You'll work with a diverse group of people who share a common goal, and you will be well supported to use your professional skills and knowledge to provide specialised support at the individual, group, school, and area level. Our dynamic team comprises Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Behavioural Analyst, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. You will also work with other Area and regional staff, such as, Education Improvement Leaders, Visiting Teachers, School Nurses and Professional Practice Leaders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes in schools. About the Role The Department of Education is looking for Psychologists and Social Workers to contribute to the important work of our Student Support Services (SSS) team in Hobsons Bay in supporting schools to address the barriers to learning that impact on student(s) progress to achieving their educational goals and development potential.
