About Us

2MC is a specialist consulting firm delivering project management, commercial management, and technical support across major road, rail, and civil infrastructure projects throughout Queensland and beyond. We work across the full project lifecycle, from bid phase and planning through design management, construction delivery, and close-out, servicing both public and private sector clients.

We have worked hard to build genuine, lasting relationships with TMR across multiple regions, earning a reputation as a trusted delivery partner on some of Queensland's most significant transport programs. That trust is reflected in the repeat work we continue to win, not only with TMR, but with a growing base of private sector clients who come back to us because of the quality of our people and the results we deliver.

What sets 2MC apart is our genuine commitment to our people and our clients. We are not a revolving door of contractors – we invest in building long-term careers and maintaining trusted client relationships. Our portfolio is growing rapidly off the back of several recent project wins, and we are looking for exceptional people to grow with us.

The Role

The Project Manager will take ownership of multiple concurrent highway infrastructure packages, coordinating design reviews, engaging a broad range of stakeholders, driving financial and progress reporting, and ensuring all quality, safety, environmental, and cultural heritage obligations are met.

* Coordinating design reviews across internal teams, stakeholders, and external reviewers

* Engaging with key stakeholders including traditional owners, cultural heritage representatives, local government, utilities, and community groups

* Ensuring environmental, resumption, safety governance, quality, and cultural heritage matters are actively managed across all project phases

* Preparing and coordinating regular progress reports for funding bodies covering scope, time, cost, risk, and issues

* Managing financial reporting for all projects

* Supporting construction contract procurement, including responding to tender queries and providing design information to the market

* Delivering a final handover package including project documentation, lessons learned, and recommendations

About You

You are an experienced, outcomes-driven Project Manager with a strong background in road and bridge construction delivery. You thrive in a client-side environment, take pride in the quality of your work, and know how to build trust with both technical teams and senior stakeholders

* Experience managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams and construction contracts at a senior level

* Sound commercial acumen, including financial management, budget control, and progress reporting

* Excellent stakeholder management, consultation, and conflict avoidance skills
