Don't sweat the small stuff – remain calm when a client has a bad day or traffic delays.
Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask the manager for help.
In Addition, You'll Need
A valid Australian driver's licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
Certificate III or above in Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability.
Experience of at least 6 months in a similar role including personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medication assistance.
The Role
General Housekeeping & Daily Living Tasks
Housekeeping, making beds.
Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
Personal Care Services
Assist clients with getting out of bed, showering and dressing.
Assist with medication administration.
Assist with mobility and therapy goals.
Provide complex care for clients with high care needs, such as dementia.
Provide social and emotional support.
Provide transport to lifestyle activities or appointments.
Help family carers by providing a break or support.
