Hours of Work: 38 hours per week

The salary is $70,000 - $80,000 annually commensurate with experience.

**Requirements**:
- Holds Certificate III level qualification.
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production setting preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
**Responsibilities**:
- To prepare and bake sour dough loaves & pastries
- Mixing, kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding and shaping dough
- Inspection of the production premises
- Ensure the quality and used by date of ingredients.
- Use the stocks (FIFO).
- Ensure oven temperature is correct for baking products
- Operate machines which roll and mould dough
- checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
- glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing
- coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
- Emptying, cleaning and greasing trays, tins and other cooking utensils
- Reporting issues and hazard
