About the Role
TAFE SA is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have substantial industry experience. You will be primarily qualified in Heavy Vehicle (Road Transport, Mobile Plant, Agricultural); additional automotive trades will also be attractive. If you are an experienced technician who can deliver qualifications at a variety of technical levels, apply now. The successful incumbent may be primarily based at Regency campus with the ability to service other TAFE SA campuses as necessary.
Minimum entry requirements
- Primary qualifications in Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Plant, or Agricultural disciplines are preferred. Additional automotive trade qualifications will be positively regarded.
- Current trade technical skills and knowledge in automotive area
- Minimum Certificate III in a relevant industry trade qualification (or equivalent)
- RTO approved Training and Assessment qualification of TAE40116 or later
- Awareness of the challenges faced in adult education, including psychosocial safety
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
