About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environment.
* Foster strong relationships with residents, contractors, and suppliers.
* Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Carry out general maintenance, including painting, plastering, equipment repairs, installing doors, cupboards/shelves, and designing garden layouts.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs. They will also be involved in:
* Asset Management: Managing and maintaining assets to ensure they remain in good working condition.
* Preventative Maintenance: Identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
* Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A strong background in maintenance and grounds duties.
* Experience working in an aged care environment (desirable).
