**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**:
With our vision in mind to become Australia's most loved short-term rental brand, you will become the guru of all things Data at MadeComfy. Being responsible for the flow of data from multiple data sources into clean, usable datasets that are visualised in meaningful reports and dashboards. You will work with stakeholders from various levels of the company to gather requirements and prioitise work based on the business's needs. This is a newly created role reporting to the Chief Technology Officer with a dotted line to the Property Performance Manager.
**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**:
- Turn raw data into actionable, value-adding insights and recommendations.
- Visualise data as reports and dashboards from multiple sources using Tableau.
- Work with key stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritise analytical requirements.
- Assess the quality of data and cleanse where necessary.
- Prepare reports for the executive team.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team to identify and act on improvements to data pipelines and infrastructure.
**KEY TRAITS**:
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
- Highly proficient in reporting & data visualisation tools such as PowerBI and Tableau (Tableau preferred).
- Strong mathematical, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with digital marketing analytics tools including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is beneficial.
- Demonstrable ability to clean, transform and visualise data from multiple data sets.
- Excellent analytical skills - the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data.
- Presentation skills - ability to write and speak clearly to easily communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand.
