About the role
Lead educators or Educators role available
Permanent Part/full time Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching Degree.
Minimum 12 months experience.
Be knowledgeable in the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework, transferring your theoretical learning to practical application by observing, implementing and evaluating the curriculum and programs.
Ability to support children's learning and development that incorporates the principles, practices and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework
Advocate for children as competent learners and plan for their learning through purposeful interactions and teaching.
Be a mentor and support to your colleagues so that consistent care and education is offered across the service.
Must demonstrate initiative to support the service as a whole.
Must have strong time management skills
Must be passionate and vested in your work and workplace
Qualifications and Experience
Completed Diploma (or working towards) or recognised Early Childhood Teaching Degree
Working with Children Check
Current First Aid and CPR certificates including Anaphylaxis and Asthma
Completed Child Protection Course or willing to obtain
Dedicated and committed
Team player
Flexible with shift times including the ability to work open and close shifts as directed by your manager
Respectful and caring practice with children
Understanding of the EYLF and NQS
