The Compliance and Operations Manager will ensure that the organisation complies with all regulatory and operational requirements for the safe service and functioning of its facilities.
Your new role
* Ensure that all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures are followed by all operational staff.
* Lead the Compliance and Operations teams to deliver high-quality services and coordinate activities effectively.
* Educate staff on and implement all relevant audited standards and regulations across the organisation.
* Oversee responses to audits and enquiries from relevant regulators.
* Understand and supervise the safe functioning of the site in accordance with the Operations Manual,
* Uphold a strong culture of accountability aligned with organisational values.
* They will mentor and oversee the Compliance and Operations Teams, including staff performance and development. This will involve close collaboration with both teams to understand operational and compliance demands while ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and compliant with all regulatory standards.
Oversee compliance with and ensure updates to:
Wildlife Management Plan, Emergency Plan, Transport Security Program, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Management System Plan, Environmental Management Plan
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated first response emergency exposure
* High level of contractor management and liaison experience
* Ability to manage people and provide direction
* High level of delivery of service
* Wide understanding of compliance procedures relating to transport, safety, environment, wildlife etc
* Safety and regulatory-minded
