Roads and Infrastructure Manager
About the Role:
* A key leadership role in managing regional Australia's road network.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Oversee planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of the council's roads and infrastructure network.
2. Develop long-term strategies to improve the road network.
3. Prioritize infrastructure needs and ensure effective project delivery.
4. Ensure high standards are met for all road and infrastructure works.
5. Manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
6. Attend council meetings and advise senior management on projects and budgets.
Requirements:
* Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience managing roads infrastructure maintenance and construction.
* Experience working with local government.
* Strong project management skills.
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, be able to manage budgets effectively, and have relevant experience in civil engineering or a related field, as well as experience working with local government.
