Job Summary
Experienced Field Service HD Fitter to join our earthmoving team for fleet maintenance in the East Pilbara. The role is a permanent full‐time, 12‐hour day, 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth or a Karratha resident. Pay is $80‐$90 per hour with superannuation on all hours worked.
Key Responsibilities
* Efficient maintenance and repairs of hire machinery, including scheduled servicing and breakdowns.
* Utilise organisational skills to liaise with the asset manager to order parts for breakdowns and unscheduled repairs.
* Perform diagnostics, problem solving and fault finding accurately and in a timely manner.
* Effectively work and communicate with other team members & clients on site to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines.
* Reliable and highly motivated to complete works in a professional manner.
* Use Dashpivot Gearbelt (Maintenance Program) to track repairs and servicing.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Field Service experience on a range of earthmoving and construction equipment.
* Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
* Australian recognised Trade Qualification – Cert III Mobile Plant Technology.
* Current Australian HR Driver's Licence.
* Automotive Air Conditioning repairer and handling licences.
* White Card (Construction induction).
* Operate and maintain a 4WD – Training.
* RioTinto Inductions are an advantage.
