Join CQUniversity in the Senior Educational Developer role. Be part of the Learning and Teaching Futures Directorate and help transform multi-modal education across our national campus network.
As an academic in this collaborative team, you'll work closely with teaching staff to elevate the quality of learning experiences for our students – designing innovative resources, advising on teaching practices, and promoting effective learning principles that put students first. You'll also contribute to research, scholarship, and strategic initiatives that align with the University's educational goals, while engaging with stakeholders, participating in committees, and leading projects that enhance the educational experience. Responsibilities
* Collaborate with teaching staff to design and develop innovative learning resources and units.
* Advise on teaching practices and learning principles to improve student experiences.
* Promote student-centered learning across multi-modal delivery methods.
* Contribute to research, scholarship, and strategic initiatives aligned with the University's educational goals.
* Engage with stakeholders, participate in committees, and lead educational projects.
Position Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with industry or professional experience.
* Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education or willingness to complete.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with university standards and academic writing.
* Proficiency in university learning management systems (e.g., Moodle) and business support software.
* Ability to deliver innovative courses and units using various teaching styles.
* Leadership in scholarship and innovation in learning and teaching.
