Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, helping people live independently. For over 15 years, we have supported older people and people living with disability to live in their own homes and stay connected to their local community. Our team is friendly, compassionate and experienced.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality in-home support services and assorted SIL Houses within Ipswich, Rosewood, Collingwood & Fernvale.
- High personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
- Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, and medical appointments
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Support customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
- Support customers with complex and/or challenging needs
- Monitor the well-being of customers and report on progress
- Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About you
- Good interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication
- Ability to build rapport and maintain positive working relationships
- Comfortable using technology (e.g., mobile apps) for rosters and recording notes/feedback
What you will need
- Current and satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module certificate
- Criminal Record Check
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian (QLD) Drivers License
- A reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
- Smartphone with internet access
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services
- The right to work in Australia with ability to provide 100 points of ID
