Senior Analyst - Member Outcomes
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Member Outcomes Team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in identifying, analysing and investigating prudential risks and issues in superannuation.
About the Role
The Member Outcomes Team is responsible for conducting thematic work that supports APRA's strategic initiatives to strengthen member outcomes in superannuation. You will work closely with other specialist risk, data and supervision teams to achieve this goal.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to projects that address current and emerging risks relating to member outcomes and strengthen practices across APRA-regulated superannuation entities;
* Provide subject-matter expertise on outcomes being provided to members by APRA-regulated superannuation entities, including insights into entity practices relative to the industry;
* Communicate APRA's expectations on member outcomes to key stakeholders; and
* Provide input into policy initiatives and work with other government agencies on initiatives aimed at improving member outcomes.
About You
* You have strong analytical, assessment and judgement skills to identify key risks and recommend options to address prudential risk for the industry;
* You possess financial modelling and data analysis skills to inform effective decision-making;
* You have knowledge and understanding of the superannuation industry, including up-to-date, broad knowledge of industry trends and regulatory developments;
* You have excellent writing and presentation skills, including the ability to produce clear and succinct briefings and documents for management;
* You are able to plan, prioritise, coordinate and contribute to projects effectively;
* You possess a proactive and flexible mindset, a willingness to offer new ideas and a fresh perspective; and
* You hold a qualification in a finance or related discipline.
