The opportunity Our Sydney Accounting and Tax Division offers exposure to diverse career pathways, including tax advisory, business consulting, outsourced finance functions and general accounting and tax services. You’ll also be part of a firm actively investing in technology and AI to support smarter ways of working and enhance both client and employee experiences. Within our Private and Family Business division, you’ll work with: Privately owned businesses with turnover from $2m to $400m High net worth individuals and family groups with wealth of up to $250m As a Senior Accountant you will: Strong proficiency in Xero, with the ability to prepare financial statements and apply sound accounting principles, along with a solid understanding of tax concepts relevant to individuals, SMEs and investment clients, including GST, Division 7A, Personal Services Income and Capital Gains Tax. Manage and control assigned engagements, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of multiple concurrent assignments through effective use of technical expertise and resources. Deliver end‑to‑end accounting and tax compliance services across a portfolio of private, family and business clients, building strong and trusted client relationships. About you You’re someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, professional environment and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes. You’ll bring: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm Relevant degree and CA or CPA qualified (or working towards) Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach The ability to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team Why join us We invest in our people because when you grow, so do we.
