THE ROLE The Director Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is responsible for leading an enterprise PMO that ensures the effective governance, delivery and performance reporting of Homes Victoria's multi billion investment in new social and affordable homes, through the Big Housing Build, the Regional Housing Fund and other capital programs. The role will drive disciplined program management processes and systems to support the delivery of social and affordable homes, aligned to government priorities and organisation strategy. Your primary responsibilities will be to: * Set governance controls and standards to ensure disciplined governance, risk management and delivery across the portfolio * Provide oversight of cost, scope and schedules to maximise social and affordable housing outcomes * Deliver clear, accurate and insightful project performance reporting and advice to support investment and delivery decisions Are you: * a strategic thinker with a commitment to high quality service delivery and performance * able to drive change, inspire high performing teams and model public service values * able to demonstrate commercial acumen and significant experience in management of complex construction projects * able to demonstrate experience in supporting organisational delivery through excellence in project and financial management ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE * Provide oversight of all capital programs, ensuring alignment with approved scope, budget and schedules and monitor delivery performance, identify risks and drive timely intervention where required * Oversee program financial management including forecasting, cost control and funding alignment * Provide transparent, high quality reporting and governance forums for executive leadership and central agencies Please open the position description to read more.
