South Central Truck and Bus is seeking an experienced and passionate Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team. This is a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in shaping and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement across our network of dealerships. Based at South Central Truck and Bus, you will be part of a forward-thinking and supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
* Conduct data analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder interviews to identify improvement opportunities.
* Lead cross-functional project teams to implement new processes that improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
* Support and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
* Coach team members and leaders on Lean principles and practices.
* Drive and roll out daily improvement meetings and structured problem-solving routines.
* Lead implementation of 5S methodologies, with a focus on safety, quality, and workplace efficiency.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to devise, test, and embed new ways of working across the organisation.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in Continuous Improvement or LEAN project management.
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills to support strategic decision-making.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured, methodical mindset.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing at all levels.
* Experience in stakeholder management, with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
* Financial and budget management experience preferred.
* Solid project management background, with a track record of delivering initiatives on time and within scope.
