With significant growth in market share and strong demands across our Western Australia branch network, we have a career highlight opportunity that has opened for an accomplished technical leadership professional for the WA region. The Regional Technical Manager will rise to the challenge of providing expert leadership support to our service teams across WA, to achieve the very possible level of customer satisfaction and engagement through continuous improvement of our service and technical support delivery.
You could be an accomplished Field Service Technician who has crafted out a strong career in Agricultural machinery, and who is looking for a step up into a more influential role - with some of the best technical specialists and product managers in the industry and direct lines of contact with CLAAS headquarters, you'll find another level with us. This location of the position is flexible within the WA region, ideally in the Perth area for travel convenience (our nearest branch is Northam) although we will consider any location in WA with appropriate access to travel. Although some travel is required, the role will be well-suited to those who are frequently travelling or working on FIFO but looking for a more settled residential role.
**This diverse, technical support and leadership role will incorporate**:
- Being the go-to technical support resource for field technicians and service teams tackling complex service and repair issues
- Communicate and guide service teams and dealers to interpret service bulletins and evolve their capability and approach accordingly
- Ensure the consistent capture of service information and reporting from across the regional network to track and respond to recurrent issues and improvement opportunities
- Participate in the development and delivery of learning initiatives for service teams and other Technical Service team members
- Build strong relationships with service leaders and technical specialists across the dealer network
- Close collaboration with Product Management teams to communicate and resolve equipment issues
- Proven ability in a specialist field service / master technician level role, capable of being the cool head and achieving solutions to the most challenging technical issues in pressured environments.
- Strong abilities in coaching and guiding service technicians through difficult service and repair jobs, either in person or remotely by phone.
- A change-ready, resilient and focussed working style who seek opportunities for continuous improvements in the technical capabilities of service teams.
- An ability to build strong and effective internal relationships within the broader Landpower business network
