Senior Support Officer - Technical & Infrastructure
Darwin, NT
East Arnhem Regional Council is seeking an experienced Senior Support Officer to provide high‐level administrative and operational support to our Technical and Infrastructure Services Directorate, with a strong focus on Civil Infrastructure programs and maintenance works.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and coordination support to infrastructure projects
* Financial processing and reconciliations (AP/AR)
* Procurement and contractor documentation
* Scheduling and coordination of maintenance and minor works
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
* Support the use of mobile apps and online systems
* Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
About You
* Experience in high‐level administration within a technical or project‐based environment
* Sound financial administration skills
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and quick to learn new systems
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable: Cross‐cultural awareness and understanding of issues affecting First Nations people. What We Offer
