Overview:
Sydney Recent and Used Office Furniture is seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead our retail operations at our Ingleburn location. As the cornerstone of our retail team, the Retail Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, overseeing both our physical and online stores, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a passion for retail management and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Sales Management**: Drive sales by developing and implementing effective sales strategies. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to meet sales targets.
- **Operations Management**: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the physical store, ensuring smooth functioning, high standards of presentation, and compliance with all policies and regulations.
- **Online Store Oversight**: Manage the online store, including product listings, promotions, and customer inquiries, to ensure a seamless shopping experience for online customers.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, motivate, and develop the retail team to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service. Conduct regular training sessions and meetings.
- **Inventory Management**: Oversee inventory levels, order stock, and manage supply chain operations to ensure product availability and minimize overstock.
- **Customer Service**: Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained in-store and online. Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and effectively.
- **Marketing and Promotions**: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional events to drive foot traffic and online visits.
- **Reporting and Analysis**: Generate regular reports on sales, customer feedback, and inventory levels. Use data to make informed decisions about sales strategies and store operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail sales management, preferably in furniture or home goods.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of online retail operations and e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- High level of customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in inventory management and retail software.
