Occupational Therapist Job Description
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with participants to improve their access, development, independence, and overall health and wellbeing.
Job Responsibilities
* Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner.
* Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience in delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services.
* Demonstrated at least 2 years clinical OT experience within community, rehabilitation and/or paediatrics.
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* Valid Driver's license and access to reliable motor vehicle.
* The ability to work independently.
