**_About the role:_**
The General Manager - Home Services, will look after a diverse professional team of individuals who coordinate a tangible, wide reaching home services support program, to older Australians in our region. The role is to manage a Commonwealth funded budget that enables support services to promote independent living at home, as well as maintenance and improvements of client's living situations and homes. The primary responsibilities of the role will include:
- Ensuring that your team delivers timely and quality home improvement outcomes for clients across facets of mobility, accessibility, maintenance and security;
- Supporting your team to coordinate home care needs of clients across nutrition, nursing, allied health, social support and general in-house assistance;
- Leading the home services, care and support staff with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiency development, professional and team development and workplace wellness;
- Managing home services budgets, including reporting of metrics and effectiveness to CEO/Board;
- Managing and conducting reporting of compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and funding guidelines; and
- Furthering the continuous improvement of stakeholder relationships, service, organisational growth and internal initiatives.

**_About you:_**
Following a rapid period of growth, including the expansion of the team to twice the original members, we are seeking an individual who is an exceptional leader and will support the Home Services teams to reach their full-service potential. Prior experience in a similar support services role, previous delivery of Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Packages and an understanding and appreciation of the government legislation and compliance, associated with these areas will be highly regarded. We are looking for someone who will lead and manage the team and inspire them to even greater efforts, as we look to further growth of the service.
You will also form an integral part of the senior management team and contribute to other departments with your knowledge. This sector is tipped to grow in the short and long term and as such, our client is preparing to increase their commitment in this area, in all facets.
