Job Title: Information Management & Document Controller
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Manager to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity that requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective document control processes to ensure efficient management of controlled documents.
* Monitor and initiate review of internal policies and procedures to identify areas for process improvements.
* Provide expert advice and support to project managers and team members on document control best practices.
* Promote the use of document control tools and systems across the organization.
* Design and deliver training programs to staff on document control systems and procedures.
* Coordinate day-to-day information management and recordkeeping activities.
* Resolve problems and issues as they arise, providing timely and effective solutions.
* Support staff and clients in understanding file and document management processes, guidelines, and compliance with recordkeeping plans and legislation.
* Promote awareness of staff record-keeping responsibilities and document management system usage.
Requirements:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
* Substantial experience in records/information management and document control practices.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation related to records management in the public sector.
* Demonstrated experience in electronic document and records management systems.
* Demonstrated experience in project document management and collaboration systems.
