Design Sales Manager
This European luxury design house leads the market in high‐end kitchens, bathrooms, joinery, and storage systems, merging three distinct brands under a cohesive vision for contemporary living. The role is part of Sydney's high‐end residential and commercial projects.
Based in a showroom in Surry Hills, you'll manage projects from concept to delivery, leading the flagship team, presenting, meeting site, preparing technical quotations, and driving new business.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales performance and revenue growth across residential and commercial sectors.
* Proactively seek new business opportunities within Sydney's Architecture & Design community.
* Build and maintain long‐term relationships with architects, interior designers, and private clients.
* Lead the specification process for kitchen, bath, wardrobe, furniture, and partition systems.
* Work with internal teams to provide detailed interior design construction documentation and cost estimates.
* Liaise closely with the production team in Europe and local contractors to ensure exceptional design outcomes.
* Oversee the day‐to‐day running of the flagship store and mentor showroom staff.
* Coordinate with international headquarters and regional teams across different time zones as required.
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years in a senior role within luxury systems, furniture retail, or high‐end residential design.
* Ideally degree‐qualified in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
* Proven track record in sales, client relationship management, and team leadership.
* Technical understanding of kitchen, bath, and furniture systems with ability to interpret architectural plans.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent design software; Vectorworks is an advantage.
* Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously.
* Outstanding communication skills and ability to operate across client‐facing and corporate functions.
