About The Role
Contribute to health and wellness across NSW Health, develop your career within Australia's largest health organisation, and lead a high-performing team to deliver research, evaluation, monitoring, and data management.
Salary: Crown Clerk *****, starting salary from $149,739 – $173,174 plus super and annual leave loading. Work location: 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead and manage staff to deliver high-quality research, evaluation, and monitoring of policies and programs within the Health and Social Policy branch.
Provide timely, expert, and strategic advice to the NSW Ministry of Health, the Minister, and other government parts on research, evaluation, monitoring and data assets.
Lead development and management of state-wide data collections for programs in health and social policy, including governance policies and processes.
Maintain accurate knowledge of data, monitoring, evaluation and reporting frameworks to promote relevant requirements and resources, building capability for robust performance and accountability.
Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners to deliver strategic work that supports branch priorities.
Plan, manage and monitor projects within the portfolio to ensure outcomes or expectations are achieved.
Provide high-level, specialist advice for reports, briefs, correspondence, and cabinet documents to inform decision-making or respond to agency or government requests.
Manage financial activities to support policy and program delivery, including budget planning, procurement processes, contract management, funding allocation, oversight and reporting.
About You
Relevant qualifications and/or experience with substantial practical skills in research, evaluation, and monitoring; management experience highly regarded.
Significant experience delivering outcomes in a multi-disciplinary or multi-agency environment.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders to deliver on complex policy and program/project areas.
