DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Customer Service Specialist, Air & Sea in Melbourne.


The Customer Service Specialist plays an integral part in the logistic supply chain, liaising with customers and service providers providing information and problem solving. Working closely with and reporting to the Senior Team Lead – Customer Service, the role is responsible for delivering outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders through timely, accurate, and effective resolution of customer enquiries and issues.


Your typical day at DSV:

* Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers.
* Provide customers with service information, including rates and available DSV services.
* Manage inbound calls, including reception overflow, and direct enquiries to the appropriate team members.
* Identify, investigate, and resolve customer issues, ensuring timely follow-up where required.
* Generate spot quotations in CargoWise One (CW1) when standard rates are not available.
* Maintain and update the Order Manager Workbench in CW1 and monitor performance priorities.
* Attend customer visits alongside the Commercial Team or Customer Service Manager.
* Ensure customer details, SOPs, and Client Organisation notes are accurate and kept up to date.
* Create customer-specific reports using CW1 and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery.


About you:

* You bring at least 2 years of experience in a similar customer service role within the logistics or freight industry.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
* A collaborative team player who contributes to efficiency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Adaptable and resilient, with a desire to grow and develop in a fast-paced, evolving business.
* Experience and working knowledge of CargoWise One (CW1) is essential.
