Our Journey
Monash Newborn, situated in the Monash Children’s hospital, is a 64 bed medical and surgical neonatal unit, with a reputation for delivering outstanding family centred care to neonates. Monash Newborn operates as a single unit with 2 Nurse Managers who look after the daily operations and staff management across Sunbird and Kingfisher teams.

Our Registered nurses love coming to work everyday to be able to provide safe and excellent family centred care. You’ll enjoy the variety and challenge that comes from working with likeminded skilled senior staff and clinical mentors, while being supported by others across the program and across our large, complex health service. We work within a team model of care - and in practicing within this model, we provide our patients and their families, a consistency in their care provision and clear communication across their journey. We have ongoing full and part time opportunities 24/7 rotational roster.

What you Bring
You are a Registered nurse with a positive attitude who loves to laugh and enjoys being at work with likeminded employees. You share this passion with your patients to support them through such a challenging time when it should be the most joyful experience in their family life.

Along with this, you ideally have proven experience working in a NICU or SCN environment, or an Acute Setting, you are driven and look forward to growing your career with the support of amazing mentors and educators within our highly skilled broader team.
