The organisation Our client is a privately-owned financier and multi-strategy alternative investment manager. They invest across all segments of the real estate sector, mid-market private equity, structured credit and hedge fund strategies. As a result of their success and growth, they have created a new position for an Analyst to join their Real Estate team in Melbourne. The role The Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical, transaction and management support to the Real Estate team. The main responsibilities will include: Developing financial models to assess loans for developments and passive real estate assets. Conducting industry research and performing due diligence of new investment opportunities. Assisting with the preparation of investment committee papers and term sheets. Assisting in the documentation and execution of new transactions. Managing the drawdown process and ongoing management of loan facilities. Assisting with the preparation and updating of capital raising documents and investor presentations. Providing periodic reporting on existing investments. Skills and experience Previous experience in credit/corporate banking, investment banking, private equity, advisory, corporate finance or investment management. Relevant tertiary qualification is essential (Finance, Accounting, Property, or Valuation) CA, CPA or CFA qualification would be advantageous Real estate debt experience will be highly regarded Strong numerical capability and financial modelling skills To be considered, please hit ''Apply''
