Hospital Educator Role
**Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Educator to join our team. As a Facility Educator, you will play a key role in ensuring the planning, development and teaching of nursing education courses/programs at the hospital are well thought out and executed.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning, developing and delivering nursing education courses/programs within the hospital
* Coordinating and providing hands-on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation and orientation to all staff, graduate nurses & students
* Promoting a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to all patients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge
* Supervising staff compliance to annual Mandatory Training and completion of eLearning components
* Ensuring best practice competency-based programs are available and assessment of staff competencies are provided for all operating theatre staff

**Required Skills and Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A Registered Nurse qualification with Current AHPRA Registration
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE) or working towards
* Post-Graduate Certificate in a related specialty area or working towards
* A minimum of 3 years relevant educator experience
* Demonstrated experience in eLearning platform
* High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
