* Must be available to attend an in-person Assessment Centre on Tuesday if shortlisted
Our NSW State Government client is seeking multiple Call Centre Operators for initial 6 month contracts with the possibility of extension in Maitland.
About the Role:
* Provide high-quality service as the first point of contact for contact centre customers.
* Receive inbound calls, gather necessary information and transfer customers to appropriate specialists in a courteous and efficient manner.
* Perform administrative tasks as required to support high-quality service delivery.
* Create positive relationships with customers across all interaction channels, maintaining a professional and friendly manner.
* Ensure client satisfaction as a priority, assessed and monitored through customer feedback.
About You:
* Must be available to attend an in-person Assessment Centre if shortlisted.
* Seeking candidates with 2-3 years customer service experience (ideally in a high-volume call centre environment).
* Require excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Previous government experience is preferred but not essential.
* Seeking candidates who have previously worked in an office environment.
* Intermediate computer skills are necessary – typing, using a mouse and monitor, strong email etiquette.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Teams.
* Will learn specific software, but contractors need to be technically savvy and able to quickly pick up systems.
